Training Policy

Attendance Policy

Students must attend all the required class hours to successfully complete the course. If you are unable to attend a training, it is your responsibility to notify a Pro Safety staff member. Students who miss a course will be allowed to reschedule one time without penalties. Students who arrive 30 minutes late for any class session may not be permitted to enter the class. Students must present a valid photo ID at the start of each course.

Communication

Students must be able to reasonably speak and understand the language in which the course is given.

Cancellation Policy

Classes may be cancelled due to the lack of student registrations, unexpected mitigating circumstances, or bad weather.  Students will be notified as soon as practicable before the scheduled class start date.

Payment

All courses must be paid for in full prior to the start of the course. No certificate of completion or wallet card will be issued unless full payment is made to Pro Safety.

Completion of training

To receive the certificate of completion or a photo ID card validating completion of a course, students must attend all required sessions.  Upon successful completion of a course, students will receive a photo ID wallet card and/or a certificate of completion.  Unless requested in writing before the end of the training, all completion certificates and/or photo ID wallet cards will be mailed via regular mail directly to the individual or company that paid for the training.

Multimedia use permission

Attendance at and participation in Pro Safety courses constitutes an agreement by the student to Pro Safety’s use and distribution for multimedia purposes of the student’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities.

Conduct

Students are required to be respectful towards their course instructors and peers, and attentive during the entire class. Students who are disruptive and found to be inattentive during a course are subject to removal by the course instructor. Cell phone usage during a course (other than in the event of an emergency) is prohibited.
