Medical Professional Liability Specialist Chris Haas Joins Risk Strategies National Health Care Practice

Appointment adds strength to recent Cornerstone Professional Liability Consultants acquisition

BOSTON, October 02, 2018 -- Risk Strategies, a leading national specialty insurance brokerage and risk management and consulting firm, today announced the hiring of industry veteran Chris Haas to its national health care practice — one of the company’s largest and fastest-growing specialty practices.

A licensed Property and Casualty insurance agent, Chris has over 15 years of sales, leadership, and management experience in the insurance and risk management industry, with the past decade focused exclusively on the coverage needs of large physician groups, individual doctors, allied healthcare professionals, and surgery centers in the northeastern United States. In his role with Risk Strategies health care practice, he will join a team offering expertise to health care clients coast-to-coast while continuing to concentrate on New York and the northeast.

In September of 2017, Risk Strategies announced the acquisition of Philadelphia-based Cornerstone Professional Liability Consultants medical malpractice, a specialist in medical malpractice insurance for physicians and surgeons. 

A native of the Philadelphia area, Chris is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Preparatory School and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from St. Joseph’s University.
