Giving Back Through Employee-Inspired Support

We’re a company that cares about our clients, our communities, and the causes our employees are most passionate about.

We were founded with a commitment to social responsibility and making a difference in our communities. The RSC Foundation, Inc. was established in 2006 by founder Mike Christian to support employees’ participation in charitable activities.

Today, the Foundation continues our tradition of employee-inspired support by encouraging all employees to actively participate in charitable activities to support the communities where we live and work.

How We Make an Impact

It starts with inspiration from our employees who are the link to the local needs in the community. The Foundation is there to support their involvement, inspiration, and impact on charitable causes that matter through a financial match of donations, fundraising and volunteerism activities, and office and company-wide events.

Our hallmark program is the annual Risk Strategies Foundation Golf Tournament in September. Our valued financial sponsor, carrier, and industry partners participate with us to raise awareness and support fundraising that in turn fuels many of our philanthropic efforts.

All employees receive volunteer paid time off to support their local community. We are inspired by our employees’ efforts to make the world a better place.

Who We Support

Each year, we support a diverse range of community projects, organizations, and causes in:

  • Education
  • Disease Research/Health Care
  • Arts & Culture
  • Child Development
  • Food Insecurity
  • Disaster Recovery
  • Human Rights
  • And more

In 2022, our focus and fundraising theme is conservation inspired by CEO John Mina’s efforts in this area. In 2021, we focused on food insecurity and helping food banks and communities feed underserved families.
