Product recall notices are always worth paying attention to, but when the product involved is an important piece of safety equipment this is doubly so. In that category is a recent notice from Schneider Electric concerning a recall of one of their electric safety switches widely used in commercial and residential settings.
According to the recall notice (which can be viewed by clicking here) certain of their Square D General Duty Safety Switch has the potential to fail resulting in a risk of electrical shock or electrocution.
